Sul is the “other” capitol of Cygnar. While Caspia is the true capitol, Sul is the symbolic capitol for members of the Church of Menoth. Sul is home of several holy sites of the Menite faith, much the same as a Jerusalem or a Mecca.
Sul has become a hotbed for the Menite insurgency, a thorn the Cygnar crown as dealt with reluctantly over the past four years. Pilgrims, zealots, and holy men flock to the city year round. Many say the city is a powder keg that could go off at any minute. Others view the Menite cause as nothing more than rabble rousers, a passing fad of religious fervor that will dwindle as the current generation ages.
400 years ago under the Orgoth, the City of Sul was a City State called Ptolus. Although it bordered the free city of Caspia, it was one of the last places in Immorren to be liberated from the oppressive regime of the alien overlords. According to legend, a massive Orgoth spire towered over the city and was the base of operation for the Orgoth Lord Kha’Rul who was overthrown by the resistance led by a hero named Vladar.
